You are running on 90° of the picture.
Most shops see the till and guess the rest. Tarakimu joins the counter, the stock room and the books into one system, so every sale posts itself correctly and Friday's numbers are numbers you can act on.

Why it exists
Built in a real shop, not a boardroom.
Tarakimu started as the system running Malkia, a Tanzanian company, because nothing on the market fitted how the business actually worked. Every feature here exists because someone at a counter in Dar needed it that week, not because it looked good on a roadmap.
That business still runs on it every day. When something breaks, we feel it before you do.
What it does
One system, from the counter to the balance sheet.
Most shops run a till in one place, a stock book in another, and hand the rest to an accountant in January. Tarakimu is one system, so the numbers agree with each other by construction.
Cash sales and invoices
Counter sales, credit invoices, proformas, delivery fees, payments split across cash and mobile money, and receipts your customer recognises.
Inventory across branches
Stock per shop and per store, transfers between them, goods received, stock counts, and a movement register that explains where everything went.
Accounting that adds up
Every sale, purchase and expense posts to a real chart of accounts. Profit and loss, balance sheet, customer ledgers, and cashier day close.
VAT the way TRA expects
Inclusive or exclusive pricing, per-product tax codes, VRN on every tax invoice, and output VAT computed on what the customer actually paid.
Staff, roles and approvals
Give a cashier the till without giving them the ledger. Discount ceilings, credit limits, and approvals for the things that deserve a second pair of eyes.
Customers and an online shop
Customer records, follow-ups, wholesale price lists, and a storefront on your own address so people can find you outside the shop.
